Naproxen Sodium is available in so many forms in so many different strengths and is recognized by several brand names. Different brands offer different strengths and is either available as a prescription drug or as an over the counter drug. Some of the available strengths are 125mg,250mg,375mg,550mg and so on. At times most of the bigger doses are taken twice or thrice in a day by dividing them into smaller doses. Tablets are not the only form of the drug Naproxen Sodium, it is available as a suspension solution as well.
The effectiveness of the drug rests mainly in the way the drug is being taken. One must follow all the instructions given by a doctor and breaking even one will have an effect. The drug when taken in tablet form must never be broken and must be consumed as a whole. One must neither discontinue nor begin the Naproxen Sodium medication without consulting a doctor. One must be regular while taking the dose and care must be taken to make sure proper interval is left between two doses. All the doses must be taken to complete the medication however one must not increase the dose strength just because they have to take all the doses incase of a missed dose. Though missing a dose is not advisable increasing the next dose to compensate the missed doe is a foolish act as such, action can lead to death because of an overdose.
